About Us:
Hey! I'm Ali- founder, head baker, and the dough-covered dreamer behind Dough Momma's.

What started as a tiny home bakery quietly selling sourdough loaves (and later, the best pretzels you'll ever have) has grown into something pretty awesome. We became Freeport's favorite spot for fresh-twisted pretzels and crave-worthy sourdough - one buttery bite at a time.

You wouldn't know it from the outside of our home, but behind these doors there's a whole lot of dough magic happening. We're Freeport's best-kept secret - a small cottage bakery with a huge following, powered by family, late nights and a mission to make carbs joyful again.

Every pretzel is hand twisted using our secret recipe, every loaf is made with real fermented sourdough, and every batch is baked with care right here in the 815.

I'm not sure where to even begin. I don't have a favorite item from Dough Momma because I absolutely LOOOOVVEEE them all. I have never been disappointed by anything she's made and I am a sourdough snob. Will not go anywhere else for fresh baked goods.

I recommend trying EVERYTHING!! We always stock up on sourdough sandwich bread, an inclusion sourdough boule, bagels, and sourdough chocolate chip cookies. You can't go wrong with whatever you choose!
